ROACHES, HELP

My chicken run is covered. Excuse me, covered, infested, etc... that's a understatement.

At first it was too many flys- got fly traps.

My fiancé wants a chemical safe for the chickens to spray on the ground to kill them. I won't allow, being dangerous for chickens.

Any recommendations?

Thanks! I need to. Fresh bedding and everything's cleaned with white vinegar. But the roaches are on the outside of the run all over. They sure need to eat them!
