I should have done this before I posted...the active ingredient in the bait is 0.01% Fipronil. Chicken toxicity is 11.3 mg/kg. Based on one number I found, a roach can eat 0.0025kg or 2500mg a day (wow that seems like a lot). That would be 0.25mg of fipronil. My smallest hen is 1.5kg. If my math is right she would have to eat 68 roaches a day to be poisoned. I failed chicken math so it's possible I'm flunking roach math too.
