The short answer is yes. We usually make sausage with it, but sometimes we recover the backstraps intact, along with the roasts, as the legs are usually undamaged.

There used to be a show on Netflix of these nutters collecting and eating all of their meat from the road. I can't remember what it was called but I remember watching it.
