Yup! We don't have those out here.
The muskrats are actually kinda cute though. I scared one that was sitting on a muskrat house once, nursing some teeny tiny pinky babies. It dove in the water with them still hanging on.

My husband and I were on a road trip, and we went through a town called "Waterville." Or probably, "Waderveeel" if you were from there...
(My bad it was an area called "Farmer" near Waterville.)

We saw 2 cars pulled over to the side of the road and we stopped to see if they needed help. Both cars had teenagers in them, and they were out looking at road kill of some sort, "Nah, we's just lookin' at road kill, hey Jimmy, git that there shovel out ma trunk."
Then some one else said..."Hey, thet's not far, we dun saw it first."
Time to leave.
