My Ameraucana has been wanting to lay all morning she runs into the coop jumps in the nesting box sits for a few jumps out runs into the yard grabs a bite runs back into the coop comes out looks around the run, goes back in thinks about it runs back out into the yard hangs out for a few then does the running back into the coop again, I'm beginning to think she is a road runner not a hen.
The other hens are out in the yard doing their thing. Is this something a hen may do from time to time?
