I took a quick road trip to KY last week, and "accidently" met some BYC celebrities, and got more than a few birds in the process.
It turns out that one Grandmother lives near Jerry Foley, the other lives near Jessi of Bluegrass Seramas, and Gretchen Bare was on the way home...
I just have to show off the new treasures. Luckily, they're not all for me. I took 10 chickens to friend down there, and came back with 13. yikes!
It all started with "one" BLRW pullet from Jerry Foley. Of course I took two...
Then I went to meet Jessi to "look" at Seramas. I have 4 that should be enough, right? Nope. Two more frizzles.
I met Gretchen at the Eastern PA chickenstock this spring, and got a cute Modern Game Bantam from her. A feral cat got it, so I needed one more. Which turned into 3 moderns, 2 polish, 1 Silkie, and 1 more BLRW.
You people are the biggest group of enablers I've ever met. Thank you.
