Robins :(

I have had robins making nests under our deck which is in the pool area for 4 yrs. My dad took down the nest it made the second year, but my sister and I begged him not to so he hasn't done it yet. So a robin made her nest where she usually does and laid four beautiful eggs. Yet I am very afraid we scared the robin from her nest because she has not come back for a long time. So finally my dad took the nest down, and we checked and egg, (made my stomach upset) so yah they were dead. I'm still really upset but I guess I'll just try to do better next time...
