I was so disappointed in this series! Pirates of Caribbean knock off. Friday was not an African. What I hate the most is that kids watching this series will assume that all they see in it's true, when the program is not historically correct. I spent a lot of time doing reference work with children correcting these kind of mistakes so that they could turn in homework that was accurate! Chickens could pick out all the inaccuracies! (They are smart!) I'm not saying that it's not entertaining, but if they're going to rip off a title of a classic book they have a responsibility to keep to the story!

i agree banter!..i'm glad someone cares about these things!..lets keep the classics true!..i hate the way they change them all around when they re-make them..

i am trying to watch it right now, and to say the least a little disappointed too!

one of my husband's favorite books. glad he is missing it!
