Rock and Roll Eggs - First Hatch

Well, egg #1 hasn't changed pip hole size. One of my Auracana eggs has pipped, but on the wrong end. UGH! I do hear cheeping from the incubator, tho. Gee Ma Nelly - I was going to try and get the house clean before the kids got home. Now I'm parked in front of the incubator just staring! Newbies should be warned - this hatching stuff is somewhat addictive!!

Should all the eggs be rocking? I've only seen movement from 3 - the ones that have pipped...

I need to go shopping or something. Maybe next time I'll just order day old chicks! The suspense is killing me!!!

Mine didn't move until it pipped. I had no idea that it was that close to hatching. He has half the egg cracked now. Turned on the radio this morning and he started just working away:) So I'm sure they are fine

LOL - I just turned on the 80s station for mine! Nothing like hatching to the sound of ZZ Top! "She's got eggs.... she knows how to use them...."

Do you have a window? You are stronger than I could be! My incubator is clear all around, so I can see everyone. Just had a 4th pip, and lots of little chirps! Today is Day 21 - so hoping for a good outcome!

And we have ZIP! Started about 20 min ago... let's see how long it takes!

Currently:
1 light sussex zipping
1 light sussex pipped
2 araucanas pipped
1 araucana, 3 marans, ameraucana, and wyandottes - nada yet.

Anything significant that the breeds appear to be grouping together in the hatch?
