Scratch that! we have a pip! My silkie pipped! It's alive, but it's peeping soooo quiet! Is that okay? No sleep tonight!

Yay!!! Awesome news! Lol - get some sleep - my first one hatched 16 hours after pipping. I have several that pipped this AM and nothing but peeping! I'm gonna try to sleep too, but I'm afraid they'll hatch during the night. THe first one flailed so after hatchingt that it kept knocking all the eggs around. I finally took her out and put her in the brooder. She is doing well, and is already quite spoiled!

I'm worried about mine. I can only hear it if I put it up to my ear. Also, the membrane is really white, is that okay? The pip hasn't gotten any bigger in about three hours... So scared!!!

All my membranes are white so far... I have some pips the same size since this morning! Guess I'll just go to bed - they are gonna hatch or not hatch whether I'm there or not!

Oh good. My chick is hatching! I can see its little beak! But it's not doing much work! It seems it has been in the same spot for hours... Maybe I'm just getting impatient. I should probably leave it alone and head to bed! Hoping for more pips and hatchers in the morning! Good luck! Maybe post pictures if they hatch?
