rocking eggs

just moved eggs to hatcher, day 14 and some are rocking....isn't it a little early, thought my temps were running a little low.

I wouldn't worry about it. Some of mine did this for a day or so before hatching.

One of mine was rocking three days before it pipped(Still hasn't hatched yet) So I think you should be okay. My quail have already been two days late which I think is quite odd. Anyways, the ones that weren't rocking, were the ones that pipped first.

they rolled around on friday when I moved them to the hatcher, have not seen any movement since.

What kind of quail are they?? I have gambel quails , saw some rocking, I thought yesterday, day 20 and today nothing. I have never hatched these before it says 21-23 days, I sure hope they hatch

hatching now !!! day 17... four out of shells 45 more to go,,,just got home from work they are still wet and messy so I couldn't have missed it by much......How long should I leave them in the bator???

I leave them until they are decently fluffy usually, but most people wait 12-14 hours
