Rocks - Male or Female?

I have a dozen chickens, and wasn't able to get pictures of all of them. However, this is a good representation of the chicks. Your help is appreciated.

Picture 1: I believe this one is a hen?


Picture 2: Notice the two different shades. I think the one on the left is a rooster and the one on the right is a hen.


Picture 3: Not sure, but think this is a hen?


Picture 4: Rooster?

How old are they?

I've had them for almost 5 weeks. Silly me, didn't think to ask how old they were when I purchased them from TSC.

I think the 4th one is a cockerel. The others I'm not too sure about. Do any of them have slim, pointy feathers by their neck, back, and tail?

Eight of my chickens look like the 4th picture. Their feathers are about 50/50 black and white. The crests are the same as pictured.

Four of my chickens are dark like the one on the right in the second picture. Their crests are like the third picture.

I have not noticed any slim pointy feathers, but then again I haven't been looking for them. I will look next time I am out there

The two different shades are indications of gender, the lighter ones are cockerels, while the darker ones are pullets.

Good Grief! I hope not! At what age, besides fully mature, would I know for certain?
