rocks used as a floor????

would it be a good idea to but rocks on the floor in the run to help with keeping it clean?

A friend of mine did it and regrets it. He said it makes it harder to clean.

That would be my thought too unless you are planning on hosing out the run a couple of times per week. The waste will get cought on the rocks and I would think start to smell.

NO!!!
It will make cleaning that much harder and it is not good on the birds feet, I would think it would lead to multiple cases of bumble foot.
