[Hens rule]

Mine do that too. They all sleep in the roosting area every other time of the year besides winter. In the winter they stay in the run or when it's warm they go outside and sleep. :/

Yeah. I have a hen who will come out in the winter and sit in front of the coop when it's raining. She is a funny chicken, her name is Funchick.

that is very strange, maybe she wants a mid winter bath? Or maybe the rain feels good because it is warmer than the surrounding temperature, who knows, but she's a goofy chicken it sounds
