Rodent Ulcer

We took our cat to the vet today and were told it was Rodent Ulcer. But without close watch for a year, it's hard for him to tell what is causing this to the cat. He also gave us steroids to give the cat, Boris.

Has anyone heard of this before? ANyone know of home remedies?

I know one thing I would do, for sure, from seeing something similar in a dog. I would make sure he never eats from anything but stainless steel or glass. When I changed my dog's bowl from hard plastic to steel, she cleared up.

It's possible that a natural diet would help, too, depending what he eats.

Maybe it's worth a try if he eats from plastic / eats store bought food.
