once i thought something caught my hen Feathery, i looked all over the yard in her favorite places, she wasn't there. Then i looked behind the nestboxes, she scared me badly!

same with my hen Sunshine. I did the same and i found her in a tall plastic bucket. She had layed an egg and couldn't get out.

I have some bad news, my pullet "Elf" is missing My dad, brother and I looked and looked for her, can't find her anywhere. My dad said to wait till morning, and she might show up

Check the trees - and the roof, and the top of the coop, and everywhere you don't think she would be, cuz that's probably were she is

When we "lost" one of our first girls, we looked all over the place for her - under bushes, under the coop, everywhere. Then Little Bro walks up and is all like, "hey guys, here she is! And there she was, sitting in the tree

She started a trend amongst the other girls... Blossom made it to the roof once after that

What breed is she?

Yes, we have a deck. But she isn't under there, we checked.

I don't think she can fly too high, she is a heavy Production red. And she can barely fly up on a bench. And plus we have lots of possums, skunks, coyotes, and owls. I just hope she finds a good hiding place to stay for the night if she is still out there
