Nope, my dad looked and looked

He said she was probably too big for a hawk to carry off, and that a hawk would kill on the spot. Our guess was a coyote, we have a lot of those around here who hunt 24/7

God keeps my chickens so safe - we've only lost three to predators. Two to dogs, and another to a fox/yote/cat or something - and that was her own fault, too

Well I had to shovel a path for the chickens today otherwise my poor little OEGB would be buried alive in snow
