:yesss: Any improvements whatsoever? :fl
Meh. My mom thought it would be a good idea to bring her outside but when Candy got in the pen she started getting all purple and breathing heavily. I Saw her comb flop over. I put her back in her cage and I thought that she for sure was going to leave us that day but the next day she was back to a red/purple comb standing straight up. I'm not really sure what's going on with her. I know now that's she's not going to live much longer but at least she's feeling better then she was when we first brought her in the cage.

:barnie That sounds so horribly frustrating that you don't know what's happening!!! :hit To be honest, I've never ever heard of that odd combination of symptoms. :idunno
I'm still praying for her and will always be, Lily. :hugs You're doing the best thing possible by assuring her comfort and peace. She's a very special chicken who deserves it. :)

My rooster had this happened. Unfortunately I didn't know what to do, so he died. His comb gradually turned people, then eventually his whole face was charcoal black before he died. Might be different from your chicken tho.

I know that conversation kinda died, but this is my hair...

I love you hair!! It's so pretty!

Thanks everyone, for the compliments! I would love to grow it out longer than it is right now, right now it is halfway down my back, but I neeed to trim it so that'll take off a inch. Swim practice is canceled for the next two weeks for pool repairs before meets begin, so I'm going to enjoy chlorine free hair while it lasts. I'm glad you all liked the violet, we have tons in our yard right now.
