Yesterday night i went outside with the duck food bucket, i was walking down the stairs that go to the backyard, i turned around to put the bucket down where it goes, and i stopped at the sight of a rounded triangle like object with 2 black dots on it. I couldn't see it well, (It was dark, earlier i was walking around my house looking for pants and it got late) so i kept looking at it. My eyes focused, and i saw the body. A possum what standing right where the feed bucket goes! I was 2 feet from it, i stood at still as a deer. I didn't know if it would attack my leg or anything, i don't know much about possums, and this was the first time seeing one. I waited until it calmly walked away under the steps of the stairs, it probably went under the deck.

I gave it my all!! I tryed my best to keep her alive with no help at all!! I stayed by her side until her last breath and I tried to revive her but it didn't work I tried so hard to keep her going but she faded away smokey was my pride and joy she was my motivation to go outside to enjoy being in the coop for hours and hours on end but now I just visualize she is there but I know she gone I cry every time I think about her and speaking or crying I an crying as I right this she never be replaced nor forgotten she wil and always be in my heart til the end!!!
