Roll out egg nesting box

For those of you with roll out egg nesting boxes, what do you use for nesting? I'm getting ready to build some and looking for flooring/nesting ideas. Was thinking maybe some of that green rug/turf stuff. Or pieces of rubber stall mats. Do you have mold/moisture issues?

I never used any bedding, but a smooth mat would work, one piece of stray or a leaf or a feather or, or, or and the egg will not roll out. I just got tired of mine and made a good hay(not straw) bedding and rarely feel the need of needing a roll out----guess if you had egg eaters they would be nice. They do make a mat for roll out nest but I do not have time to google it for you. Good Luck
