Roll Out nest box: Front or back

I’m making some roll out nesting boxes for my coop expansion they will have fake grass pads for nesting material.

Quick question
Should eggs roll to the front or back? I have seen both and my set up allows for both. If collection is in back then birds are facing a back wall of nesting area, if collection is in front, then boxes are facing Doors and ventilation of nesting box apartment. I can set up curtains. There will be three boxes side by side.
