rolling eggs

This is just a question . Incubating or letting a broody hen sit, either way he eggs have to be rolled. The last three days i have been told not to turn them, does the same rule apply to chickens? Do they even know how long it takes for an egg to hatch? Just wondering

It does and the broodies do know because they can feel the eggs motion and hear the chick inside the egg. They roll the eggs until they don't need to be rolled anymore.
