We had threads a few years ago about favorite artists from different decades - 50s, 60's, 70's, 80's, et. al..
I thought hearing of others favorite love songs might be cool.

I'll start. I have lots in mind but to begin, I became aware of Sade back in the late '90s when 'Smooth Operator' hit the charts. But I delved into her again recently learning that she wrote all of her own songs. My favorite has become 'By Your Side'. It was said by critics to "stand as one of the most endearing anthems of unconditional love to emerge in the 21st century thus far".
There are lots of love songs on that album.
