That is so cool! Great find, @alinas2010 !
Thank you! I love it, too! The lady selling it said, “Ohhh I’ve been waiting all day for someone to pick that up. Do you own chickens? I just knew the person who picked it up would own chickens. I’ll throw this in as well.” And she gave me this vest, too. I’ll make it work with something!

I collect antique leather bound books and some vintage leather bound. I just keep them at my desk right now, but my husband is building me a humidor bookcase for some of my older ones especially. The oldest I have currently is a French 1840 copy of “The History of Charlemagne”. I have a 1862 “Mansels Metaphysics” signed by Professor Mcdougal at the university of Edinburgh. I also have an 1880 “Scarlet Book of Free Masonry” signed by a Grand Master. I have many more, but too many to list:)

My brother gave me these old poultry magazines for my birthday. They’ve got some neat content in them and cute little comics on the pages. I would be lying if I said some of the factory farming content didn’t bother me and make me sad, but it’s neat to see some of the other things like adds for poultry medicine, feeds, and chicks! I can share some content if anyone is interested, just holler!

I recently stumbled across a group of specifically "vintage" Halloween collectors and was pleasantly surprised by just how many cool masks, candles, blow molds, etc are out there. Does anyone else have a fun Halloween vtg display collection? I think I may start collecting pieces this year, as I usually sell anything like that I get, but I have really enjoyed seeing what the setups look like.

I don’t have any myself, but my parents may still have a few of our old Halloween decorations that would be considered vintage. I will look for some when they pull the decor out! With you this, though, I would love to see if anyone else has some!
