roo got into fight with other roo and lost.. hen is different she has nothing in her crop and nothing hard where she might be egg bound.. she just took a couple bites of scrambled egg.. but that is it

Couple of questions on your hen-does her crop feel OK? Could she be eggboud? Cold possibly?

Sorry-I should read before I post(you already answered these questions).

keep them both warm..bring them inside..
birds have to be warm when they are stressed or sick..
wish i could help you more..

Sorry you've been having such a bad time! I'm thinking bringing them both to warm quiet dark place to sleep tonight would be best - couple of cardboard boxes in a laundry room? You'll probably be able to diagnose better in the AM. Could it be hen is just a bit scared over the whole fight scene? MAke sure they both have a chance to drink some nice warm water.

Do you have a good thick blanket and a cup of tea for yourself? Sounds like you need a little extra care tonight too.

roo is ok so far in a dog crate.. hen is in kitchen in a box.. her crop is empty.. hubby said she was not moving much yesterday.... aaaaahhhhhhhh i yelled at him and said then why the heck didn't you bring her in........she ate about a tsp of egg. and a dribble of water...
if i can figure out what it is i can get meds tomorrow... they are 8 mos old and not wormed?.. will check stools overnight.. hard to tell outside with all the roos blood everywhere...
