i heard the roo crowing this morning in the dog cage.. he is fine so far.. will just watch for infection.... the hen was drinking on her own this morning so will try to feed her more .. maybe she was just hiding from them all. hubby was saying she was underneath the roost platform next to the food. it is dark in there.. maybe she was hiding? anyway going to tractor supply this morn and getting some supplies..tylan. wazine for a start.. i need to know how to give wazine if she doesn't start eating on her own i might try worming and if she won't take it in a bread ball how else do you give it? thank you all for the support.. am also getting some more yogurt, electrolites and maybe some vitamins.. i have canned cat food going to open one now and see if i can't entice her..i really don't know why she would be sick.. we have 4' of snow and have for about 3 weeks so they have not been outside at all.. the others are all fine and there is no sniffles or coughing.. it has to be either the stress or the worms i would guess...

I believe Wazine can be put in their water. It should tell you on the directions.

couldn't find any wazine except in a liquid form. it said for 600 chickens like one cap full???? do they make it any other way or is that what i should pick up? the roo needs cleaning again his comb drained over his eye and closed it shut.. going to clean him back up in a min.. hen acts like she would like to eat but on ate two pieces of corn on the cob her fav. no scrambled eggs. a little water, one bite of calf mana.. getting ready to try yogurt.. she would like to eat but just pecks at it and doesn't swallow it? gape worms?

ok she thought yogurt was pretty good.. ate about a teaspoon and then a sip of water..i bought tylan 50 injectable if need be..think i will just watch her.. maybe she was just stressed out.. ? i hope that is it..she is pooping there are about 5 in there from over night.. so she must have been eating.... will keep you posted

If you are going ot worm, I would use Diatomaceous Earth. It's powder and you just sprinkle it in their food and litter, all over the coop, on the birds, you name it. It's all natural and it just get rid of all pests on or in your birds.

they have always had d/e since day one.. in their coop, bedding and dust bath.. just not directly on their food.... hmmm..i did get the pour on ivomec sp? but didn't buy the wazine it was sooooo big.. going to look for something diff if i can find it.. or is that what your supposed to buy?
