Our 9 week old sex link has been crowing for almost 2 weeks.... Poor thing sounds like a kazoo, but his crow gets louder each time.... He is proud of it too...

My bantums and red rooster started about 8 or 9 weeks, they are now 10-11 weeks and the bantums put the big boy to shame. Their crow isn't quite as loud, but very clear and having almost perfect syllabyls in the crow. His crow is still strangled and really lame sounding, but it is improving. We laugh every time. We didn't plan on keeping roosters, but we really like the sound (it's not too close to house, and our neighbors are even farther away, AND we have a neighbor about 1/4 mile away that has a really loud rooster we can hear in the distance, so not worried about ours).

wooohooo that was a relief ! i googled how to stop roos from crowing one answer was"take him to the vet and take off the sound system in his nick" THAT WAS SICK i would rather let him crow than torcher him!

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN Dominique ,holland,and plymouth rock chickens? is there a defference or thay are alljust the same they seem to be the same!
