I remember seeing in my travels how gape work can affect your flick and I've had a few issues easily treated with apple cider vinegar and food grade diatomaceous earth in their food, it's always worked well and quickly once I noticed the symptoms yawning water poops weird stance usually when standing from roosting or after resting my rooster was looking sunken in the breast area and he stood like he was all sunk in and uncomfortable but not much yawning but he's huge so my normal "hen sized" treatments weren't curing it, I fought it all summer
, anyways a full month of heavy monitoring and adding vinegar to rain diluted water daily and combatting with DE he finally is crowing once again... Non stop ...all all afternoon lol

Only as a fall and winter treat for protein to combat northern Maine winter
This will be his first winter and the three girls I have left will welcome his heat supply I'm sure
