So I have a silkie rooster that’s been around my silkie hen since he was 4 weeks old. My hen has never showed any sort of aggression towards him and today out of nowhere he started attacking her... he is 4 - 5 months old and she is 7-8 months old. Is he just trying to show dominance? I’m not able to post a video so these at the best screen shots I could get lol

It could be pecking order dominance, or it could be the cockerel wanting to mate and the pullet not agreeing. It's pretty normal for a bit of sparring and feather pulling to happen. Just make sure it doesn't get to the point where blood is being drawn. Do you have other chickens with them?

I have 6 other chickens, but they are much bigger than he is. We let one of our red sex links in our backyard to see how he would do and he instantly ran up to her and tried to peck her butt. Haha she was not having it!
