So i had a barred rock up a few weeks ago and people thought she looked like a black sexlink roo because she/he is stripped but the legs were sorta greyish. I was all upset for a few days thinking "why did they sell me this chicken saying it was a br!?"
As time goes on her legs are most definitely orange, but shes got a black mark up the front of them that seems to be getting lighter with time.
So the people thought this BR was not a br and likely a roo, how do you feel now?
here s/he is in with a few of my others, including the other roo the board thought i had... although in his case i suspect you all were right!
Edited to add that for some reason i always photograph them in front of that gross wall. The siding was stained when we moved them in there and it looks just awful. i swear the rest of the joint is clean! i kitty litter scoop daily!
