Roo, hen, gender fluid!?

But it seems like Lana (or maybe Lamar, Lance, Langley...) has a small pea comb. All of the chickens seem to have rather narrow neck feathers. Could that just be a thing with this breed?

At that age, his comb is way too big and red. He's definitely a cockerel.
If it was a pullet he'd have a much much smaller comb, and it'd be hardly red.

That's more of an individual thing I'd say.
 
So EE pullets would still a have pale comb at 10 weeks old? Geez, I don't know what we have in this bunch anymore. On the other hand, one of the more obvious and dominant roosters has a rather pale in comparison to numero uno rooster. But I guess his comb has always been big.

Yes, this was mine at 12 weeks old.
