Roo mating??

I have a polish roo that i have only see mate with one of my hens one time. Does that mean he is not mating??? My hens don't ever have any feathers out of place on their backs either.

How much time do you spend watching them each day? How long does it take them to mate? Do you think they might have time when you're not looking?

i spend a lot of time with them and like i said only seen him once. The other roos are doin their job.

Try trimming his crest so that he can see what he is doing. Also if he is in with the other roosters, they are probably dominant to him. Because of their crests and conformation, Polish are frequently relegated to the lower levels of the pecking order.
