So here are my two buff Cochins and I think Apricot is a roo. Below is Apricot with the messy wing feathers and the next photo is Marmalade with the neat squared off wing feathers. What do you think?

X 2Bantam Cochins are not feather sexable by wing tips. That only works with special hybridization from a fast feathering father with a slow feathering female. Plus, it only works on day 1 and 2 from hatch using the coverts (the longer feathers, secondary row, on the wing tips).
For Bantam Cochin, look at comb development. At 5 weeks, it is still early, but both look very encouraging as pullets. Male Bantam Cochin will bolt with comb development much earlier than females.
So right now, both pullets.
