Roo or hen meat chicken

I am asking for a friend who might be taking this chicken back to her flock
After this chickens friends got killed by a predator
It is supposedly 6-8 weeks

I would think 6-7 weeks hen Cornish cross meat chicken
What do you think?

Boy, I think.

Pullet. I believe it's closer to the 8 week end of that age range.

I could be wrong, but most meat cross cockerels get big combs and wattles early.

That's what I'm thinking too although I have never raised Cornish Crosses so I will admit I am not an expert in their development rates

Considering the breed, the age, and the size, I would suggest just butchering it now instead of trying to integrate it into another flock. (Which would mean the gender doesn't matter.)
