Very new to birds this year. Currently have raised nigerian dwarf goats for the last 4 years. I purchased a mix of 6 chicks from Tractor Supply back in Early April. As they've grown it has been a tumultuous ride. Turns out we ended up with 2 roos, 2 hens(I hope), and one that we just can't figure out. The 6th one when they were being introduced to the pen when they were younger was snatched by a hawk. We've got the ability to separate the roosters as the young teenagers are constantly fighting now that the one has started crowing. I believe we have 3 EE or Ameraucana's and 2 Australorps. Either way I believe both australorp's are females due to the light brown eggs being laid in the last 2 weeks we have a dozen. The last chicken though has taken to the nesting boxes and is frightened it seems of the white roo. Only way I can get it out is to separate the white roo. It is def. Smaller and appears to be losing feathers. I'm worried we may have more roosters than we realize. B&W (SP salt&Peppa) hasn't laid eggs but it could be early. 24-28 weeks old. All raised together and purchased at the same time. Thank you for any advice.
