Roo or Hen

Not best pic will try and get better one. This is supposed to be an Amber white SL. Look how big his legs and feet are..they are huge to everyone else.also lots of wing flapping neck stretching. He/she is a little Aggressive To the rest. Thoughts

I wouldn't presume to guess. What age is it?

I can only guess got them from TS they had different ages in the pens. There are 3 out of 7 that appear to be older. The 3 older ones have lost almost all of their fuz and have wing, tail and breast feathers. So I would guess going on 3 weeks old. I have had a week. This little one is the biggest of the 3..gonna get better pics in morning....

Very cute! To early to tell by looks on sex though, I hate not knowing with mine myself! You could have either femail or male though.

At 5-6 weeks it should be obvious...by color/size of comb/wattles.

Well got at lest 2 more weeks to wait. Chick 1 already has some red coloration on comb/wattles but cat tell it from this pic..will keep taken pics till I figure it out. Thanks

It's pretty hard to miss.....once you've seen it.

Chick #2 is a roo..comb and wattles already larger and red (although you can't see it it this pic). A friend or mine who's mother raises chickens confirmed by looking at them all and checking their "buttons" on there legs. Seams the roo's grow much faster and larger then a hens....Anybody know how accurate that is? She really seams to know what she was talking about.

Not accurate...both genders have those 'buttons'...it's where the spurs will grow, but they won't start growing until 6 months or even much later.
Hens can even grow small spurs.
