Roo or hen?

Could you get a picture of the comb head on to see if it has one row or three rows?

This is the only pic I have right now of head on, this was the day I got them, around 12 weeks old from what I was told

This is a tough one. But I think pullet due to such a small comb

With that picture, it looks like there are three rows on the comb so I have to vote that it is a cockerel.

Mostly Easter Egger with a bit of Game influence.

Cockerel. Small velociraptor! (I have some, too).

Keep an eye on whether he gets along with everyone else in the next few weeks...

When did yours start crowing? I haven't heard any crowing yet other than the roo I just brought into the flock and he's a year old

Ours are in a multigenerational flock situation. They don’t start crowing until at least 12-14 weeks or later. I have one that was born on April 10th and he has a nice comb but hasn’t crowed yet.

No crowing from the guys born on May 5th, either.

Eight week-old cockerels are still babies and they do not crow here.

Americauna roo would be my guess. Here's mine. Also barnyard mix, mine's definitely a roo
