Roo or Hen

14 week barred rock. I'm getting mixed answers. Crows randomly. Not everyday and typically at like 8am. I heard hens cam do this if they are thw alpha. We did introduce baby chicks about 5 weeks ago separated.

Agree, this is a cockerel. Coloring and the significant comb and wattles. While females can crow, it is not common and usually in older birds.
