Roo or Hen?

Hello! I'm looking to find out if my chicken is a roo or hen! They are a 13 month old Black Australorp; they occasionally crow (in the mornings for instance), but has no signs of any spurs and is super sweet! Thanks in advance!!

Can you post a picture? Very likely a cockerel.

Could you post photos? Sounds like he’s male. Spurs don’t come until they are a bit older. And females can also get them, so there are other more defining things we look at.

Looks like a hen feathered rooster.....I'm really on the fence, body says hen, face says roo, stance says roo. probably a hen with hormone issues. Temperament and spurs aren't good indicators of gender.

I see a few pointy saddle feathers. Not super pointy but enough that with that comb and waddles and crowing I wouldn't expect an egg

This bird is very strange. My best guess would be a hen with a hormone imbalance.
