Any idea to why he don’t crow yet?

Each bird is an induvial and matures differently. There is no "normal" time for him to start crowing. Some will attempt to crow at just 6 weeks old, some won't start till they're 20 weeks old. He'll crow when he crows.

If you have more higher-ranking roosters in your flock the lower ranking boys may not crow as much or as often because the other males will bully him.

What is up with all these roos that look like they're wearing clip on beards? Is this an egger thing?

It always reminds me of the beards a lot of Amish men have
