Roo or Hen

I know the white is a roo... but not sure about the blue... as for the feathers she looks hen.
But than she's got that thing growing on her nose... that looks like the roo's ... my other white silkie is a hen and she
doesn't have the thing on the nose.

The "thing" on the beak is a comb and all chickens (male and female) have them. The female combs tend to be smaller than the roosters of the same breed. But your splash silkie looks like he might be a rooster.

Ok I know about combs.... but didn't know about the silkies .... ty
i was really hoping he was a her lol

also these 2 are the same age.... and the splash doesn't have the "waddles" if that is the correct term to use... and also the splash the tail feathers are curling under.... which i think soemone told me the hens curl under and the roo's stick straight up... but just wishful hoping here... lol

look at the tail and see if it has fethers that fall down like womans hair and it will be right befor the tail

Both look like roosters to me. A female Silkie usually wouldn't have this much comb.

the wattles on the white are bigger because he is not bearded while the splash is bearded so his wattles will be smaller
