Roo or hens?

Fairy sure the black is a roo, but I've also never had this breed, so could be wrong! both are 2 months and 10 days old.

This one is an Ameraucana.

And this one is a frizzlecauna

Hi, the black one looks like pullet. Unless she/he has a comb?

Are you asking about the black one with the red front as well? She looks older so a hen.

The frizzle look like a rooster, how old is he? does he have a comb?

Both of them have bumpy bits, but not sure if you'd call them a comb! Different to the rest of our chickens, so hard for me too tell!
Both are 2 months and 10 days old, so about 10 weeks?

And no, the other older on is definitely a hen, she's been laying eggs for us for ages!

I can try. It's a bit hard, they are pretty skittish. Usually my boys are better at catching them than I am, but the bigger they get the faster and smarter they get!

haha, yeah they do get harder to catch. But see if you can. If you catch one, hold it's feet and lay it on it's back. That will calm him straight away.

Here's some more, I think this is as close as ill be able to get! Funny, I thought both had similar combs, but the frizzles is bumpy and the black on is smooth.

My Frizzle ( looks exactly like yours ) she did have a pea comb but she didn't get wattles or a comb til POL. ( 19 weeks old )
