Roo or not here is a pic

I'm not quite the chicken person, but have always had a hen or two in my backyard (started when we rescued a Foster Farm escapee who was injured on Hwy 101). Since I live in city limits, I've run into a dilemma...a chick that came my way has developed into a gorgeous, tame, and personable rooster. He is a show quality Rhode Island Red bantam, and I need to find a home for him. I'm hoping if I post this message, it will attract a few responses! He has been restricted to the house since he started greeting the day (if you know what I mean), and he's miserable. All he really wants is outside time, bugs, dust baths, and fresh air. Is anyone out there who could accommodate a handsome new rooster (without eating him)?

When you post your question/offer on the end of someone else's thread it's considered hijacking and most people won't pay attention to your question. Also, post a pic of him if you have it. Good luck finding him a good home.
