My BLR Wyandotte's are 4w 3d old and was wondering we may have a rooster? I have 5 hens of different breeds but not sure on these 2. Any insight appreciated!

I can usually sex my chicks at around that age, but it is totally different when you are there in person with them! So I'm going to say, could you post some individual pics of each chick in daylight with their combs showing at five or six weeks? Thanks!

How I sex chicks, is I look for larger, or just reddening combs, then, about after ten weeks, they start getting pointy hackle, (neck) feathers, pointy saddle (base of tail going down on either side) feathers, and after a little bit, they will start growing their sickle (tail) feathers out long. Those are all characteristics of a roo. Hope that helps!

Sorry I just saw this! I'll check for that! I just took this photo. They are now 7 weeks. I'll get a photo tomorrow. I'm sure the lighter one is a gen. She looks like how my others did at that age. But my dark one I'm still unsure.

Hi all, I'm am new to raising chickens. I have successfully incubated and hatched 18 chic in 2 different batches. I thought I could tell my cockles from my pullers but this one has me questioning myself. It looks to have saddle feathers and the long tail but there is no comb. This one is 17 weeks today. Would appreciate your input.
Thanks
