here are some pictures in better lighting and "his" comb does seem less dark in color but still pretty pink his feathers did grow quickly, much like like a pullet, something inside me is still hoping for a pullet but if he is a rooster I'll still support him :plbb

Those are great pics, I don't see any sex feathers, but I could be wrong. Look for long thin feathers at the base of the tail on the saddle. That will tell you if it's a boy. Another way that I use to identify roos and hens are the vocals. If it has a more cockerel cluck to it then it might be a roo. This isn't a very good way to identify because it is basically a guessing game.

Saddle feathers don't come in until 12 wks or so. It's a bit young yet for me to tell. You may be asked to repost in a few wks and pics of the bird standing on its own in good day light would be more helpful.

Chickens don't get saddle feathers until they hit puberty at 12 weeks of age. This one is still a child...

I'm on the fence. Please wait another 4 weeks at the earliest and post more pics. Its very difficult to accurately sex chickens under 8 weeks. Especially since this one is definitely not an early cockerel. What I mean by that is that its comb isn't popping out and bright red!
