Roo or pullet??

Which ones were marked as roo? Can you share their pics?
They were marked on back when we received them. I didn’t use anything else. To distinguish them apart. Figured I’d be able to tell... we lost 3 very early on. The pics above are of the 3 left. 1 of these was clearly marked, 1 wasn’t and 1 had a questionable mark on back. So I figured the 3 I lost were pullets. This is my first go with GLW.

What causes the difference in the coloring patterns? One is noticeably darker than the others
Some have better quality lacing than others. Cockerels, though, get a red wing patch and a golden saddle that drapes down. Those should be visible at this age.

BTW, sexing mistakes happen but it's usually sexed females that turn out to be males rather than the other way around. This is because they are much more likely to miss seeing a tiny bump than to imagine seeing one that isn't there. Curious where you got them?

Valley Farms Hatchery in Alabama. I am new to this breed so I wasn't real sure what to look for. Planning on using these as egg layers in my mixed flock and maybe trying to hatch some chicks next spring to sell. Wanting to try my hand at the chick business. I know if I am successful I will need to add more chickens and purchase from a GLW breeder. Any thoughts?
