I purchased 10 EE from a local feed store March17 and they were suppose to be all pullets since the price was $2.29 each I was doubtful they were pullets and thought they might be stright run chicks.
I have noticed 5 of the chicks are slower in feathered out on the back and top of the wings as can be seen in this photo. I have noticed in past years that some times the slow to feather chick is often a Roo, What do you think about this could I have 5 Roos in this group? Have you ever seen slow featherd chicks turning out to be pullet?

no, They are in my brooder that is 4 by 8 foot and is 3 feet high and they are wild! The combs are pretty much the same at this time, the tails of the supposely roos are more up right and the supposely female chicks carry their tails more stright out from the body. I just wondered if anyone had noticed slow feathering being sexlink?
