Roo? Or Roos?!

. Is it bad to keep 2 Roos together with 8 hens all of the same age?
Umm.. .the general rule of thumb (I think) is 12 hens for one rooster. I've had that ratio and some of the hens were his 'favorite' and it showed in their lack of feathers. He was a great rooster who protected his girls and made sure his girls ate first, but he was a little rough in the .. ah.. err.. loving department. ;) My girls were not cooperative at all!
It all depends on the roosters. I've had two roosters together (incubator) and I had to get rid of them because they'd fight each other and would challenge me sometimes. (Both welsummer) I had two others together and they were fine.

Ok...Now that they're all getting old enough to tell if they're hens or roos, we have another one we think is a rooster...Rhode Island Red about 12 weeks old. Posting pictures below. All pics are of the same bird. This one is very skittish and won't stand still long enough to take a good close up so sorry about the quality. What do you think? Roo?
