Yeah thats what i was going by. Also those two chest bump all the time.

Do you know if the grey colour on the cockerels is linked or is it a coincidence?

You're right on your guesses. Was the hen similar to the color of the cockerals? Usually it's linked like that. For example a barred rock hen crossed with a black rooster will produce barred roos and black hens.

Yeah my hen is exactly the same colour as the cockerels. That makes life easier when it comes to sexing them then. I have 4 more, one just hatched under a broody and 3 given to a broody friend to raise. So i shall warn her not to get attached to the grey ones.
