Roo- pure or mixed

No idea. I was given him from my neighbour after I lost 40 birds to a fox.

Looks like a mix. I’m going to venture to guess that he’s a gamefowl mix based on his coloring, comb, and overall body shape. He is stunning. You should definitely use him for breeding.

Well, I don't know that I want to. I'll likely be replacing him with an Ameraucana or Wyandotte roo. I'll be picking up Wyandotte chicks soon, so I'll either be breeding for purebred Wyandottes or colored egg laying offspring.

Maybe keep him around in his own coop with attached run as a yard ornament.
